Samsung Galaxy S20 FE February 2021 security update has released!

The Galaxy S20 FE! Launched with Android 10-based One UI 2.5, the Galaxy S20 FE devices have already joined the party with the One UI 3.0 update. Now, Samsung started sending a new software update to this affordable flagship smartphone which comes with a newer security patch.

According to the info, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) has begun getting the February 2021 security update in several European countries including France and Switzerland. The latest update for the Galaxy S20 FE LTE can be identified via build version G780FXXS2BUA5.

Recently, Samsung published the details of the February 2021 security patch. The latest security update brings fixes for 4 critical and 32 high levels of CVEs. Read more

A few things to be noted that this is a gradual rollout which means only selected users will get this new software update until the company ensures its stability. Also, it may take a bit longer to arrive on every Galaxy S20 FE smartphone. We can only expect that Samsung will soon expand this firmware outside Europe.
