Samsung has started to roll out an April 2024 security update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra devices in India. However, the patch is already live in other countries like Europe, the US and will reach the remaining region users in the coming days.
Being a regular security patch, the update didn’t bring any new features or major changes to your device, but it ensures the reliability and security of the system. The patch also provides improved protection against threats, and viruses to offer users a hassle-free interpretation.
While the Security Maintenance Release of April 2024 mentions fixes for over 40 vulnerability exposures including 1 critical and 26 high CVEs from Google and over 7 SVE items from Samsung. Notably, the offerings of the latest patch are collected in a 396.33MB package.
