Verizon has pushed off an all-new April 2024 security update for Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S20 FE devices in the US. This new patch is released to improve the security and stability of the Fan Edition models alongside fixing bugs and glitches to offer users a more optimized experience.

The patch provides improved protection against harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults. It also increases security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. While it also mends over 40 vulnerability exposures.
In addition, the update also resolved common bugs and glitches that may have been discovered in the system, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss. Other than this, the security patch didn’t bring any new features or major changes, but we recommend users to upgrade their devices.
Furthermore, the consumers of Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S20 FE are collecting the April 2024 security patch through One UI build version S711USQS3CXD2 and G781VSQSDHXD2 respectively on Verizon in the US.

Consequently, it is a gradual rollout, and the patch will take some time to reach every eligible unit in the country. So just have patience and wait for your turn.
