Last month, Samsung began releasing the One UI 5.1.1 software update for the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra devices in European countries, meanwhile, the enhancements of the latest One UI iteration are now available in the US.
Based on Android 13 One UI 5.1.1 brings bundles of great features and optimizations including improved app arrangement on recent screens, two-handed drag and drop functionality, the ability to show 4 recent apps in the taskbar, enhancements in the gallery app, enhanced memory management and much more.
Other than these new elements, the latest update also brings an old July 2023 Android security patch, which will maintain the security and stability of your big-screen device, and keep it protected with the most recent security protocols.
Simultaneously, the One UI 5.1.1 update is currently released for the locked models of Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 devices at the Version network in the US. However, the other network users will also acquire the update in the coming days.
