Samsung began the February 2024 security patch rollout with Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Fold 3 devices, but the update has been limited to European countries so far. Now in an exciting development, the Korean tech giant has expanded the reach of the firmware to third-generation foldable devices living in the US.
This new security patch will work on the core functioning of your foldable devices and enhance its security and stability grades resulting in a seamless and more optimized interpretation. In addition, the update also mends over 72 vulnerability exposures found in the previous version of Google and Samsung software.
Besides, there are no new features or major changes found in the changelog, the February 2024 update is rolling out for both carrier-locked and unlocked variants of Galaxy Z Flip 3 on Metro PCS and T-Mobile networks, while, the locked version of Galaxy Fold 3 is collecting it on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile networks in the US.

However, the remaining region and network users will also collect the patch in the coming days or weeks, so just have patience and wait for your turn. Accordingly, the users of Galaxy Fold 3 and Flip 3 will be able to check and install the patch manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
