Samsung One UI 4.1.1 update brings new multitasking feature and more for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE

With the launch of the fourth generation foldables, Samsung introduced the new One UI 4.1.1 custom skin, later on, it debuted for several foldables and non-foldable smartphones. Now the One UI 4.1.1 update is making its way to the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE devices.

Samsung released the One UI 4.1.1 software update presently for the Galaxy S20 FE users. Whereas, the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra have not yet obtained it. The update for Fan Edition arrives with One UI build version G781VSQU6FVH2. 

According to the changelog, this new One UI 4.1.1 software update brings Multi-Window features for your smartphone. Additionally, it contains some other enhancements for the Private share and Smart View feature. Similarly, the September 2022 security patch is also included in the pack.

After installing the one UI 4.1.1 update, users will be able to use the Multi-Window feature more quickly and adequately. Additionally, the Swipe for split screen and swipe for pop-up view feature will make your multitasking easier.

Also, there are some enhancements have been made in the private Share, now you will be able to edit the file names when they are shared in Private Share. Also, the Multi-View experience has been enhanced to fit your daily usage style.

Other than these new additions, the update also provides you with better security, enhanced stability, and an overall optimized user experience for better performance. This new major software update will give your Galaxy S20 FE new and enriched feel.

Moreover, to test the stability and adequacy, the One UI 4.1.1 update based on Android 12 is currently rolling out for the Verizon-locked Galaxy S20 FE devices in the US. However, the company will make its broader rollout in the coming days.

If you have not yet received the update on your Galaxy S20 FE devices, then you can download it manually, to do so. Go to the Settings of your smartphone, scroll down and tap on the Software update menu. Here fetch for the latest update, once you find it, hit the Download button and Install the update.
