US carriers releasing One UI 4.1 update for Samsung Galaxy S20

Samsung releasing an Android 12 based One UI 4.1 software update for its eligible devices worldwide. Now the company is sending this latest update for Samsung Galaxy S20 users living in US. This update will bring many new changes and improvements to the device.

The latest Android 12 based One UI 4.1 update brings a bunch of new features and improvements. At the same time, it installs the March 2022 Android security patch for better system security as well as brings the ability to turn off Game Optimization Services.

To be mentioned the carrier-locked models are getting this update at the moment. However, other users will soon get this update on their phones. The updated versions are as follows:

  • Galaxy S20: G981USQU2FVC5
  • Galaxy S20+: G986USQU2FVC5
  • Galaxy S20 Ultra: G988USQU2FVC5

According to the changelog, this update comes with customizable RAM Plus, an improved Gallery app with build-in Reflection Eraser and Shadow Eraser, improved Bixby Routines, enhanced color palette, as well as better low-light portrait images that let you take stunning portraits even in low light.

Further, the company’s partnership with Google ensures a seamless experience when using your favorite third-party apps and services. There’s s many Galaxy S22 inspired Camera features including Pet recognition and Light position editing that further enhance your photography experience.

Additionally, the newly added Google Duo Live Share allows you to share your screen with people you are far away from. Whereas, the Grammarly-powered keyboard ensures that you won’t do typing mistakes and Enhncaed Quick Share lets you edit and share images with ease.

How to check for update:

  • Open Settings
  • Click Software update
  • Press Download and install.
