Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 20 receiving March 2021 security update

Verizon is currently rolling out the latest One UI 3.1 for several Samsung devices, the company has recently seeded this upgrade to the Galaxy S20 devices and several other models. Alongside the latest One UI version, the company is also releasing regular security updates for its devices.

According to the latest information, Verizon-locked Samsung Galaxy S20 phones are now receiving March 2021 security update in the United States which installs the latest security to the devices and improves the system stability.

The latest firmware update can be identified with the software version N981USQU2DUC5 and N981USQU2DUC5 for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra respectively. Besides the security improvements, the update does not add any new features to the device.

It is important to note that the update is currently rolling out in batches, so it may take some time to reach your device. If you own a Verizon-locked Galaxy S20 in the US and haven’t received the update via OTA then you can also check it manually through Settings > Software updates > then Download and install.
