Xiaomi has pushed a new MIUI 12.5 beta update for its eligible Redmi and Mi smartphones with version V21.12.6. The latest beta update brings optimizations for Gallery to enhance the performance.

As per the changelog, the update optimizes the screenshot, screen capture, edit mosaic pen, edit the shape, and shape icon style as well as adjusted the rectangle as a default option for edit.

Several reports claimed that Xiaomi is going to launch its newest custom skin, MIUI 13 on December 16 or 28. However, the internal beta testing already started for several flagship devices. The company is regularly releasing the MIUI 12.5 beta update to test the new features that will come with MIUI 13.
