Vivo gives at least one major OS update to most of its smartphones – If you have a Vivo device running Andriod 9 out of the box, then you are eligible (technically) for the next versions of Android.
In May 2019, Vivo’s three smartphones were in Google’s Android 10 developer preview program – Vivo X27, Vivo NEX S, and Vivo NEX A. Vivo’s Funtouch OS 10 is based on Android 10.
Vivo isn’t the company that takes software updates seriously, however, it already rolled out the stable Funtouch OS 10 update for its few smartphones.
