Huawei Mate X2 goes on sale starting at 17,999 yuan (2798 USD)

On February 22, 2021, Huawei has launched the Mate X2 smartphone that comes with a bunch of new features and an inward folding design. It is packed with the latest Kirin 9000 SoC.

As per the latest news, this new generation of folding flagship Huawei Mate X2 is now officially on sale in Huawei Mall, major authorized e-commerce, Huawei experience stores, and authorized retailers in China. The 256GB version is priced at 17,999 yuan (2798 USD), and the price for the 512GB version is 18999 yuan (2944 USD).

Huawei Mate X2 specifications

The Huawei Mate X2 comes with two displays with an inward folding design, which comprises an 8.01-inch main display and a 6.45-inch secondary screen. It measures 161.8 x 145.8 x 8.2mm.

It may equip Huawei’s self-made Kirin 9000 processor along with the 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, and more. In terms of camera, it will feature a quad-camera setup with a 50MP main camera and three more lenses of 16MP, 12MP, and 8MP respectively, it will also have a 16MP shooter for selfies.

Furthermore, it packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The smartphone is available in three different colors to choose from including Black, White, and Pink. It is paired with 8GB of RAM along with a 256GB and 512GB storage option.

Additionally, the company has also announced that this smartphone will be the first to get HarmonyOS in the month of April.
