Microsoft’s Skype finally started working on Apple Safari

Microsoft has taken a big step forward with the web version of Skype. Support for Skype for Web (Skype for the browser) has significantly expanded.

On computers, Skype for the web can now run on old Microsoft Edge 87 and newer, new Chromium-based Edge 87 and newer, Google Chrome 87 and newer, Safari 13.1 and newer, and other Chromium-based browsers 87 and newer.

On mobile devices, you can use Microsoft Edge version 43 or later on Android, or Safari version 13.1 or later on iOS.

Note that despite the added support for Safari, the web version of Skype still does not work with such a popular browser as Firefox on computers, as well as the mobile version of Google Chrome.
