Now, a well-known tipster has revealed that several manufacturers will also launch a variety of new folding screen products in the future. Let’s take an example, Xiaomi will launch an improved MIX Fold model and offer an off-screen initiative, yet retain a large screen internal folding design.

Additionally, Huawei will also launch a smaller foldable phone with an internal folding screen equipped with HiSilicon Kirin 9000, which could be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, but unfortunately, it is still a 4G model.

Previous reports claimed that Oppo will also launch a large-screen internal foldable mobile phone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship platform, and Vivo will also launch the first large-screen internal-fold mobile phone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 (sm8450), which was previously exposed as a Snapdragon validator.

Earlier, Vivo has applied for trademarks such as “Nex Fold”, “Nex Slide” and “Nex Roll”, which are expected to be used on the new phone.

Reports show that the new Oppo Folding Screen will be equipped with a 7.8 by 8-inch OLED folding inner screen, 2K resolution + 120Hz refresh rate, and it is expected to adopt the same folding method as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. The tipster has also said that this phone will use side fingerprint recognition, front 32MP camera and rear main camera using the recently seen 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor.

Adding to this, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which will come pre-installed with the ColorOS 12 system based on Android 11, and it is powerless to use the Android 12 kernel.

Apart from this, there is news that two folding screen phones, Huawei Mate V and Honor Magic X will be launched in the fourth quarter.
