Google is rolling out a new 10.6 version update for the Android Auto app which adds a handy Disconnect button feature. To be mentioned, the update with the new option is currently in the beta phase. Therefore, once after ensuring its stability, the company will expand its reach to users widely.
This new Disconnect button allows users to terminate a connection to a wireless Android Auto source, such as an adapter or a car equipped with wireless support. The button shows up in the notification shade.
Other than the new button the Android Auto latest app update doesn’t bring any new features but contains small tweaks and bug fixes. Hence, if you want to experience this latest feature, upgrade the app to the 10.6 version. In case you are not able to access this version, then be patient, as it will be available for you soon.
