Psychonauts 2 will be released in 2021. A game page with information and screenshots has appeared in the Microsoft Store. Work on the sequel to the platformer began even before Double Fine Productions joined the Microsoft family, so Psychonauts 2 is coming to PlayStation 4.
Description of the game, “Razputin Aquato, acrobat and powerful young medium who made his dream come true and joined an international psychic espionage organization called Psychonauts. But our super spies have a problem, their leader has changed since he was kidnapped, and even worse, a mole is hiding in the headquarters. Raz must use his powers to stop the mole before he carries out a secret plan to resurrect the deadly psycho-villain Malyguly.”

The game could be preloaded for a while, the size was 27.7 GB, but now the option is disabled.
