Samsung expands One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI feature for more Galaxy S21 users

After the initial rollout in South Korea, Samsung has now expanded the reach of the One UI 6.1 update alongside one prominent Galaxy AI feature for more market users of Galaxy S21, S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra devices. Yes, the software is now live in Switzerland and will expand to more regions soon.

Based on Android 14 the One UI 6.1 update offers bundles of new features and improvements to optimize the user’s experience. But unfortunately, the software didn’t bring all the outstanding offerings of Galaxy AI. It means, users of Galaxy S21 devices only get access to Circle to Search feature.

In addition to the new AI feature, the changelog of the update also mentions the inclusion of the April 2024 security patch for improved security and reliability of the system. While, the software also upgrade some stock applications for optimized and more seamless interpretation.

Furthermore, the owners of Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra will be able to identify the One UI 6.1 update through build version G991BXXUAGXDA, G996BXXUAGXDA, and G998BXXUAGXDA respectively in Switzerland. While, it carries installation package of around 2.4GB.

As usual the update is released through over the air method and might take some time to reach every eligible unit in the country. In case you don’t want to wait any longer to enjoy the latest additions, then go with the manual installation process through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
