The global mobile app & mobile game intelligence platform Sensor Tower store today announced the top 10 list of global app downloads in May. Among them, Douyin and its overseas version of TikTok, after reaching the top in April, again reelected First place on the list.
The data from the Sensor Tower store shows that Douyin and its overseas version of TikTok have downloaded more than 80 million downloads. Among them, Douyin’s downloads accounted for 12%, and TikTok’s Brazilian market accounted for 16%.

Facebook ranked second with more than 53 million downloads, with 27% of downloads from the Indian market, followed by the United States with 7%. The other three apps in the top five are Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, all of which are social applications.
It is worth mentioning that in addition to Douyin and TikTok, another app developed by the Bytedance Company, CapCut, also appeared on the list, ranking eighth in the overall list.
