WhatsApp has finally relesed a feature ‘Always Mute’ for its users, by the help of this feature you can silence or mute their chats for forever. And now Always Mute option is available on both Android and iOS.
On Friday, the company officially announced the stable release of the Always Mute feature on Twitter, which can be seen as an option along with the 8 hours and one week option for muting chat.

Here’s the step to enable WhatsApp Always Mute option:
For Android Users:
- Open WhatsApp
- Then open the chat, which you want to mute
- On the top right cornerof chat head tap three buttons and select mute notifications
For iOS users:
- Open WhatsApp
- Then open the chat, which you want to mute
- Select chat head then click mute option
- Select time duration according to your need
The Mute notification have also have one interesting feature. On Android you have also option to ‘Show Notification’ even after you mute. However, this feature is not available for iPhone.
WhatsApp also introduce new feature on Thursday, which gives the permission to WhatsApp business users to sell product directly from the platform.
