Apple macOS 13.5 bug affects location services permissions for apps

Apple macOS 13.5 resulted in an anonymous bug that started affecting location service permissions for certain applications. The details reveal that the issue emerged for the Mac device owners after installing the latest software update.

Recently, the tech giant released a new macOS Ventura 13.5 build for Mac devices. The update brought in minor features related to the News app and some other bug fixes on board. However, a few users reported that the Apple macOS 13.5 is having an odd bug that is restricting the location service permissions for apps.

The information further states that users were unable to access and control location permissions for both first and third-party applications. Meanwhile, macOS 13.5 has no apps listed in the location service section.

Eventually, one can not turn on or off the toggle of the location services for any applications. It also prohibits users to see which apps have access to their location information at the current time. The issue remains the same when you try to request location services for a newly installed app.
