Samsung has reportedly stopped the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update rollout for its fourth generation of foldable devices – the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4. The major update is already available for these devices in selected countries.
According to the community moderator, Samsung encountered a problem with the security patch applied to the One UI 6 software that was released to some Fold 4 and Flip 4 users. However, the company is working on an improved version of the software.
In the meantime, Samsung is releasing One UI 5.1.1 for Fold 4 and Flip 4 models in some markets. In addition, the improved version of One UI 6 with the fixed security patch is under final testing and is expected to be released by the end of this week or early next week.
