Apple macOS 14 released with new game modes, screensavers, and more

Apple macOS 14, which is also named macOS Sonoma is now live and released with a big bag of features for Mac devices. Eventually, the list includes some new changes as well as useful improvements for the iMessage, home screen widgets, game modes, screensavers, and more.

Similar to iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, the Apple macOS 14 is released with several prominent features. Initially, Mac owners will find an all-new emoji stickers interface. On the other hand, the less-used iMessage app will now remain behind a sub-menu, for a simplified and cleaner design.

Moving ahead, macOS 14 introduces aerial screensavers, which is quite identical to the one in tvOS. Further, macOS Sonoma let users add interactive widgets on the desktop accordingly. While you can check off reminders, control the media in a better way, access home functions, and perform multiple tasks at the same time from your Mac, directly using the desktop.

If you are a game lover, then here is good news! macOS 14 comes with a new Game mode that delivers an incredible gaming experience. Also, there is a new API that eases to port Windows games to the Mac.

Currently, the company has pushed off the first beta of macOS Sonoma to developers. Though, it won’t take much time to see the public beta. The tech maker says that the next version will be available this summer, while the official release is expected this fall.
