As per the new plan, there will be new options in the editor area, which will open the photo or video in the Android version of the Google Photos app. Afterward, the users will be able to access the Google Photos editing feature including advanced options such as white points, black points, skin tone, vignette, and much more.

But, you need to manually open the Google Photos and fetch the image or video that wanted to edit. All, these are major changes but the major notable thing is the integration between ChromeOS and Google Photos.

For photos, the flag description reads:

“Within Gallery, enable finding more editing tools for images in Photos,” with the flag itself carrying the chrome://flags/#media-app-photos-integration-image designation.

For videos, the flag description reads:

“Within Gallery, enable finding more editing tools for videos in Photos,” with the flag itself carrying the chrome://flags/#media-app-photos-integration-video designation.
