Google Pixel 6 Pro, world’s first smartphone with Android 12 pre-installed shown in high-res renders

High-quality renders of smartphones Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro appeared last week, and now modified images of the older model – Pixel 6 Pro have been published on the web. There are not many changes, but one important thing is still there, it concerns the camera.

In addition, this time the source gives more technical details about the device. We can say that the new renders are in line with the latest rumors that the Pixel 6 Pro will receive a camera with a periscope module, which will provide 5x optical zoom.

And this time such a module is clearly visualized – it is the third in a row. Also, the smartphone is assigned the main sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels and an additional one with an ultra-wide-angle lens, but clearly lower resolution.

Now it has finally become clear how large the protrusion of the camera block is beyond the rear panel: with a smartphone thickness of 8.9 mm, the thickness of the device, taking into account the camera block, is 11.5 mm. That is, it protrudes outward by 2.6 mm – this is noticeable. The length and width of the smartphone are 163.9 and 75.8 mm, respectively.

Google Pixel 6 Pro is credited with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a built-in fingerprint scanner. Also in the configuration of the device are stereo speakers and wireless charging. According to preliminary data, smartphones of the Pixel 6 line will also receive support for UWB communication and a single-chip system developed by Google. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are expected to premiere in the fall.

These renders were made by trusted insider Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka OnLeaks. Previously, he has already published renders of smartphones Sony Xperia 10 III, Samsung Galaxy S21, Google Pixel 4 XL, and all of them later received official confirmation.
