Huawei usually uses its own Kirin chipsets in smartphones. Meanwhile, with the Huawei P50 series, things could change this time. According to the latest leak from a Huawei Insider, the P50 phones might equip Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 Soc.

Though, there will be the Kirin variants as well. This piece of information was already known for a long time and this new leak makes it easier to believe. The inclusion of Qualcomm chipset is likely due to the shortage of components Huawei is facing after the US ban.
