One UI 6.1 instant Slow-mo feature needs high-enough resolution videos to work

Samsung Galaxy S24 series comes pre-installed on Android 14 based One UI 6.1 which brings bundles of new features and enhancements. Meanwhile, one of the features from the One UI 6.1 offerings list is the instant Slow-mo which needs high-enough resolution videos to work.

According to the information, Samsung has added a lower and upper-resolution limit to the Instant Slow-mo feature. It means you can’t use the One UI 6.1 Instant Slow-mo for videos with a lower-than-HD (720p) or an 8K resolution. Because it’s an AI feature that needs a high enough resolution.

This rule of having accurate resolution applies to every video, including screen recordings and video files you’ve received from other devices. Hence, to use the AI-powered instant slo-mo feature, users will need to take care of the resolution of their videos, as it don’t work on above 8K and lower-than-HD (720p) resolutions.
