Take an early look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 21 FE in concept renders

On August 5, 2020, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 20 series which includes two premium phones – Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. These S Pen supported devices come with Exynos 990/Snapdragon 865+ chipset, pre-installed Android 10/One UI 2.5, 90Hz/120Hz refresh rate screens, and more.

Later on, the company has released an affordable Fan Edition variant of the Galaxy S20 series that is the Galaxy S20 FE. The S20 FE equips the same hardware and upgraded software capabilities compared to its parent models. At the launch conference of this smartphone, the Korean tech giant promised to introduce a Fan Edition variant of its every upcoming flagship.

Back in November 2020, a ‘Galaxy Note 20 FE‘  sporting a 6.5″ display was spotted on Samsung’s Brazilian website. However, it was a typing mistake because the listing was spotted on the Galaxy S20 FE webpage. Moreover, display analyst Ross Young also claimed on Twitter last month of a possible Note 20 FE.

It is expected that Samsung will launch the Fan Edition (FE) variant of the Galaxy Note 20 and it may be the last smartphone of the Galaxy Note lineup. In the meantime, LetsGoDigital brought us the concept renders of the upcoming Galaxy Note 21 FE. The high quality renders shows that the Galaxy Note 21 FE may equip the same rear camera setup as the Galaxy S21 series.

The upcoming Galaxy Note 20 FE/Note 21 FE is expected to sport a Full HD+ flat display similar to the Galaxy Note 20. The back panel of the Note 21 FE will be made of plastic material which is more durable and less fingerprint sensitive than glass.

As we know, Samsung has never launched a Note smartphone without an S Pen so we can surely expect that the Galaxy Note 21 FE will also have the S Pen support along with a dedicated slot to store the stylus. Furthermore, it may be powered by the 7nm Exynos 990/Snapdragon 865. In the software department, the next Fan Edition will be equipped with the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 or One UI 3.5 version.
