Similar to Mi 11, Xiaomi is expected to introduce its Mi 12 / Xiaomi 12 smartphone by the end of this year. As usual, ahead of the launch, we have witnessed multiple leaks and rumors about the phone.
In the recent development, we have come to know that Xiaomi 12 Ultra will feature a larger zoom camera. The tipster Bald Panda says the device will come equipped with a 1/1.5” periscope camera with 5x optical zoom.

Moreover, earlier it was reported that Xiaomi 12 will not feature a 200MP camera but will equip a 50MP shooter, the tipster corroborates the same. In addition, the 50MP sensor is said to have a 5x periscope lens, whereas, the other two cameras must be paired with wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses respectively.
Bald Panda further reveals that the phone will sport an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor underneath its display. If the information goes true, then it will be the first Xiaomi smartphone with such technology.
Aside from this, previously it was revealed that Xiaomi 12 series will adopt a new packaging process, which will bring a narrower frame and chin. Also, the visual effect will be better.
In addition, Xiaomi 12 will cancel the four-curved screen that comes standard with the Xiaomi Mi 11 series and replace it with a more visually coordinated hyperboloid solution.
Moreover, the product is said to use a 5000mAh battery with 120W wired fast charge and 70-80W wireless charging capacity. Also, there could be three-state liquid cooling technology to keep the battery safe.
