Xiaomi has recently released a teaser of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which confirms that the device in collaboration with Leica, will launch in the month of April in China. Additionally, the promo poster also shows the global launch date of the upcoming device which is April 17, 2023.

Moreover, Xiaomi on Weibo, and Leica on his Twitter profile have officially confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra sometime this month. Although, it has not yet disclosed the exact launch date for China, but it seems that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra could be revealed during the Xiaomi “Open Day” in China on April 9.

Furthermore, the teaser also shows that the Chinese tech giant is going to unveil the Xiaomi 13 Ultra globally at the Xiaomi Spring New Product Launch Conference. Which will be held on April 17, 2023, at 7 PM with the caption “Classic Moment True Leica”.

Xiaomi and Leica, two leading names in the province of mobile technology and photography, have announced their strategic cooperation in the global imaging field has taken a crucial step forward. The companies have joined hands to bring the latest optical system solution for mobile imaging to the market.

After the Xiaomi 12S series and the recent Xiaomi 13 Pro which used Leica optics, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will use the next-generation Leica Summicron lens for mobile imaging. It’s going to be the first time, different smartphone lenses from wide-angle to telephoto have achieved consistently excellent optical capabilities.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have a 6.7-inch E6 AMOLED LTPO display that offers an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and it is expected to feature a 4900mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The 13 Ultra will come preloaded with Android 13 OS and MIUI 14. It is likely to come equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. For security, it will have an under-display fingerprint scanner. Whereas, its back panel will be equipped with four 50-megapixel cameras, which will include a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto camera, and a periscope zoom lens.
