Gear S3 and Gear Sport will get Bixby in next software update

Samsung is going to discontinue its old S Voice assistant and it will not work after June 1, 2020. You should not care about the S Voice if you are using the Gear S3 and Gear Sport.

Samsung is going to bring Bixby as a replacement of the S Voice for the two smartwatches, reports Sammobile. Also, the recent smartwatches have launched with Bixby support. You can call Bixby for help anytime, anywhere. The default voice wake-up command for Bixby is “Hi, Bixby.”

The publisher also confirmed that the Bixby won’t be available for Smartphones and tablets. Samsung launched the Gear 3 classic and frontier with S Voice in 2016. While the Gear Sport had launched with S Voice in 2017.

There’s no timeline when the company will release the software update for the Gear Sport and Gear S3.
