The patent abstract shows that the utility model provides a vehicle-to-vehicle charging circuit, a charging harness, a charging system, and an electric vehicle, which belongs to the field of electronic technology. The vehicle-to-vehicle charging circuit is applied to a first electric vehicle including a first charging interface, and the vehicle-to-vehicle charging circuit includes a controller, a power supply circuit, and a voltage detection circuit.

The voltage detection circuit can collect the voltage at the charging confirmation terminal in the first charging interface, and the controller can control the power supply circuit to pass through the first charging interface when it is determined based on the voltage that the first charging interface is connected to the vehicle-to-vehicle charging harness. The DC power supply terminal of the vehicle is charged to the second electric vehicle connected to the vehicle-to-vehicle charging harness.

The patent abstract also states that vehicle-to-vehicle charging from one electric vehicle to another electric vehicle to be changed without moving the electric vehicle to be charged to a charging pile for charging improves the flexibility of charging the electric vehicle.

According to Xiaomi’s official news, the company’s automotive business R&D team currently has more than 1,000 people, and it is expected to achieve mass production in the first half of 2024. The car-to-vehicle charging patent applied by Xiaomi this time is expected to be realized in mass-produced cars. When the battery is exhausted and lying down, it can be temporarily charged by other vehicles without the need to use a trailer to drag it to the charging pile for charging.
