Apple Tap to Pay feature for iPhone is live in Netherlands

Apple is now bringing the ‘Tap to Pay’ feature for iPhone users residing in the Netherlands. Though consumers have the facility of performing online transactions using Apple Pay. However, they still need to use a PIN device that has NFC capability, which often becomes inconvenient.

But no more suffering! Apple ‘Tap to Pay’ feature is now live for users in the Netherlands. Independent sellers, small merchants, and other large retailers in the nation can use this function to operate related tasks and operations.

To those who are unaware, the Tap to Pay feature resides in the iPhone and uses NFC technology to securely authenticate contactless payments. Besides, the feature supports PIN entry along with some accessibility options.

Currently, Adyen and SumUp are the first to provide this capability in the country. Meanwhile, the company will expand the feature to more apps as well as Apple Store locations in the coming weeks. There is no official announcement but the tech giant will soon hold a press conference related to it.
