Google announces ‘Search On’ event for October 15

Google today announced a new launch event “Google Search On” for October 15 and expected to bring new software products and improvements for existing applications. The company last month unveiled new Pixels phones after a continuous delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Google hosts the I/O conference every year the ongoing pandemic affected this year’s Google I/O and the company had to cancel this online event.

“Very year, we make thousands of improvements to Google Search, from advancing our ability to understand language to introducing new features that organize the world’s information in useful ways. We’d like to invite you to tune into our Search On livestream on Thursday, October 15 at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET where you’ll hear about the latest ways that Google is harnessing the power of AI to help people understand the world around them.”

Aside from a unified announcement platform, Google has decided to introduce new features in this dedicated show that you can watch on YouTube and on the official Google website on October 15 at 12PM PT.
