Google is testing several new enhancements for the Play Store including a mysterious Cubes feature. Perhaps, the respective capability may act as a central hub for discovering new applications and games from various categories, providing an organized interface.
Another interesting feature will be the Download Buddy – a codename for the installation progress bubble feature. As the name suggests, it will enhance the user experience during app downloads. When enabled, you will see a floating arrow on the side of the screen after tapping on the install tab for any application.
Clicking on the floating bubble will show the downloading progress of the application. Notably, the bubble can show up to 10 apps at the same time. The next one is the filter chips that will let you browse the Play Store and pick apps according to the device (tablet, watch, TV).
Open App Reminders is one more useful segment coming to the Play Store that will alert users about applications that they have not used for a long time. Other than that, we may find changes regarding UI, navigation bar, smaller cards on the home screen, and more.

Consequently, the US tech giant is revamping the Google Play Store with some outstanding functionalities, including the Cubes feature. Though these changes could take time to become a reality.
