Trusted devices option is back on Smart Lock for Google and Samsung phones

Recently, some Google and Samsung smartphone users reported that the Trusted Devices option on Smart Lock has unexpectedly vanished. But thanks to the US tech maker, the issue is resolved and things are fine once again.

To those who are unaware, the Trusted Devices feature in Smart Lock keeps your Google and Samsung phones unlocked, especially when linked with a Bluetooth watch or a car system. If your handset is running on Android 13 and Android 14, then you would be able to use this feature.

But in the recent few days, some users were only able to see On-body detection and Trusted places in the Smart Lock. While you may think that this could be a defect of the Android 14 QPR1, several Galaxy users with Google Play Services 23.35.15 version were also dealing with the same problem.

However, the tech giant has addressed the issue and the Trusted Devices menu has once again appeared in Smart Lock. In case you have not found it yet, update the Google Play Services or tap the link HERE.
