HarmonyOS 2 stable rollout started for Huawei Nova 8, Nova 7, Nova 6 and more

According to the latest information, Huawei has released the stable version of HarmonyOS 2.0 for Nova 8, Nova 7, and Nova 6 series of phones. Along with the Nova smartphones, the MatePad 10.8 tablet is also getting the stable HarmonyOS update. These devices were previously under beta testing and received several beta updates for improvements and bug fixes.

Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 7 phones were included in the initial list of 28 devices for beta testing, while the Nova 6 phones were also added later on. With the beta program, a select number of users have got a chance to test this latest OS. However, the beta program is limited to the Chinese markets and soon it will expand internationally.

From now on, all the devices listed below will be eligible to directly upgrade over HarmonyOS 2 without participating in the beta activity. Check the full list of eligible models below:

This is the second stable update rolling out and before this, the company has already started releasing the stable update for its devices. And the first-ever stable version of HarmonyOS was announced recently for 18 topmost devices including the Mate 40, P40, Mate 30, Mate X2, and MatePad Pro devices.

The new HarmonyOS was launched on June 02, 2021, bringing in a whole new user interface with a new home screen, service widgets, control panel, and much more. It carries several extraordinary features and one of them is the Super Device that lets users control a bunch of devices using a single super model.
