Maruti Suzuki is expecting an adverse impact on production in November due to electronic component shortage in its Haryana and Gujarat plant.
The company stated in a regulatory filing that, “Owing to a supply constraint of electronic components due to the semiconductor shortage situation, the company is expecting an adverse impact on vehicle production in the month of November’21 in both Haryana and its contract manufacturing company, Suzuki Motor Gujarat Pvt Ltd (SMG),”.
Maruti Suzuki had earlier said that the total vehicle production volume in both manufacturing units in October could be around 60% of normal production volume.
According to a PTI report, Maruti Suzuki expects the total vehicle production volume in both manufacturing units in November could be around 85% of normal production volume.
