As per the report, its new generation 5G flagship chips are built using the originally expected 5nm process and have been upgraded to 4nm. Meanwhile, 3nm products launched and become TSMC, the first customer 4nm, and 3nm.
The report has claimed that MediaTek’s mass production schedule is expected to be comparable to Apple, and has won orders from major manufacturers such as OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi.
According to reports, with 4nm process chips outperforming 5nm, the unit price of MediaTek’s new 5G flagship chip products will increase to US $ 80 (about 522.01 yuan), much higher than the current average unit price of 30 to 35 US dollars.
Regarding related rumors, MediaTek said it could not comment on the product blueprint and process usage, and only indicated that TSMC has always been the company’s most important partner.
