MIUI 12.5 update doesn’t bring Super Wallpapers to every Xiaomi phone, here’s why

Wondering about Super Wallpapers with MIUI 12.5 update, you might not get it as Xiaomi moderator just confirmed that smartphones with AMOLED display or high-end chipset support this excellent functionality.

Xiaomi users have been waiting for the MIUI 12.5 update for a long time as it comes with plenty of new features, and one of them is super wallpapers, as they provide an amazing experience. But after MIUI 12.5 update, many users started complaining that their phones do not support Super Wallpapers.

In response to the users’ complaints, a moderator from the Xiaomi community replied, “Super Wallpapers only supports devices with AMOLED panels and high-end chipsets.” There are a set of devices that do not have support for MIUI 12.5 Super Wallpapers, including the recently launched Mi 11 Lite.

SUPER WALLPAPER

Super Wallpapers are space-inspired live wallpapers that include different backgrounds at different zoom levels to correspond to the UX screen you are viewing it on. These include 3D visuals of Earth, Sun, Saturn, etc.

In April 2020, Xiaomi has officially released MIUI 12 with a bundle of new features such as Super Wallpaper, Control centerFrame Rate Monitor, and more for its devices to enhance user experience.

With MIUI 12.5, the Chinese tech giant has once again placed a set of new and amazing super wallpapers with an aim to revamp the viewing experience of Xiaomi devices. We’ve already seen some of them including Snow mountain, Earth wallpaper, islands, and more.
