Months back, Xiaomi started Android 14 development on its latest flagship devices including the Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro, and even 12T. However, there was a big query as to why the firm had left the Ultra variant from this prominent development, so now the doubt has vanished, let’s see what was the reason behind this decision.
As per the information, an MIUI 15 test build has recently been spotted for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra models and this indicates that the firm had reserved this model for testing the next MIUI version. Xiaomi 13 Ultra becomes the first device on which the firm is testing a stable MIUI 15 version, as earlier spotted builds were reserved for the unreleased models.
The first MIUI 15 test build for Xiaomi 13 Ultra has appeared with version V15.0.0.1.UMACNXM and it’s currently preparing for a Chinese variant. The recently spotted build indicates that MIUI 15 will likely be introduced sometime at the end of October or in the first week of November.
