Xiaomi finally revealed a new launch date for the most awaited Xiaomi 13 series, yesterday we saw screenshots of the Mi Store app suggesting December 11 as the launch date. Now, Xiaomi officially confirmed on its Weibo handle that Xiaomi 13 will arrive on December 11th along with MIUI 14.

As a reminder, Xiaomi 13 series was initially set to launch on December 1 in China. However, due to the death of China’s former president, the event was postponed, and now as per the official information, the Xiaomi 13 series will go official on December 11 at 7 PM in China.
In the launch event, Xiaomi is going to unveil the most anticipated custom skin MIUI 14 based on Android 13 with Xiaomi 13 series. Other than this there might be some more products like Xiaomi Watch S2, Xiaomi Buds 4, and Xiaomi Mini Host, the first desktop by the brand and the event will be live at 7 PM China time (around 4:30 PM IST).
Xiaomi 13 Series Specification
Xiaomi 13 series is said to comprise two models Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro while bot will feature slightly different specs as the standard model will equip a 6.36-inch E6 AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. Whereas the Xiaomi 13 Pro will have a larger 6.73-inch E6 AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution. Both will support a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. The vanilla model will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging, whereas the Pro model will feature a 4,820mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
Moving on, the Xiaomi 13 will feature a triple rear camera system with a 50MP main lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP tertiary lens. The Pro model will also get a triple rear camera system with a 50MP main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. Interestingly both will boot on Android 13 out of the box and have MIUI 14 on top.
