We are in mid-May 2023 and OnePlus started rolling out an all-new security update for the Nord 2T devices. The latest development welcomes a bunch of safety fixes that aim to improve the internal system. Alongside, the update boosts the overall performance of the smartphone.
It’s good to know that the OnePlus Nord 2T is getting the first slot in the May 2023 wagon. Meanwhile, the new rollout increases the capability of the device to fight against potential threats found in the recent build.
Apart from the security patches, the company is focusing on its primary goal – to distribute the OxygenOS 13.1 firmware to its eligible handy gadgets. The tech giant has now reached the 11th series, and will soon push off the major version to other devices as well.
Coming back, OnePlus is sending the May 2023 security update for Nord 2T with the OxygenOS 13 version CPH2401_11_C.27. Whereas, the corresponding phone holders need to download a software pack of 559.34 Megabytes to enjoy the latest improvements.
Adding more, the changelog consists of two parts. The first part tends to improve the performance efficiency of the handset. It further looks after the stability aspects and makes the device more reliable and responsive to users’ operations.
On the other hand, the second part accompanies the new security patch released in May 2023. This addition fixes various bugs and security vulnerabilities. There are some system stability hotfixes added to the build with these security patches.

There are some precautions that you should follow to things done smoothly. Also, the update won’t erase your data but we suggest that you back up any important files before updating. The update package will be deleted automatically once the installation finishes.
To grab this firmware, you need to open up the Settings page and fetch out the System & Updates page. From here you can follow the on-screen instructions to check for a new version.
Currently, OnePlus has not shared the details of the OxygenOS 13.1 expansion. However, Nord 2T users are eagerly waiting to know more about their status eligibility.
