Xiaomi fans and tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the next iteration of MIUI, and there are dozens of devices anticipating to enjoy the features of this new software version based on the Android 14 operating system. However, this could not be possible for some Xiaomi devices, as they can receive MIUI 15 but won’t get Android 14.
According to the information of Xiaomiui, there are three Xiaomi devices that won’t get Android 14 but receive the most awaited, MIUI 15 update based on Android 13 software. However, the tech maker is constantly developing the next iteration of MIUI or we can say, it’s internally getting tested on eligible devices.
However, the testing builds of Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 10S, and POCO F3 have recently been spotted on the server, which confirms that these three models will receive MIUI 15 based on the Android 13 operating system instead of Android 14. Therefore, this news may disappoint some users.
Although there hasn’t been an official announcement about MIUI 15, MIUI-V23.9.15 builds provide us with a clear indication that the next iteration of MIUI is currently in the testing phase.
