Here’s one good news for some old Xiaomi devices, the company is soon going to add 5G connectivity support for a bunch of 4 Mi devices in India. The firm works with the aim to provide users with the best in technology experience and with the vision of building a more connected, digital-first eco-system with a wide range of 5G-ready smart devices.
In an official Twitter post, Xiaomi India announced that the firm is expanding its 5G connectivity support to more Xiaomi devices in India. The Chinese tech firm has released the 5G functionalities for Xioami 11X and 11X Pro and Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G via an OTA update. Meanwhile, the Mi 10, Mi 10i, Mi 10T, and Mi 10T Pro will receive an update soon.
With this 5G support release, the company’s approach has been to enable a true 5G experience by bringing in functional 5G devices. The post further states that, the firm is dedicated to addressing issues or concerns that consumers may have pertaining to the 5G accessibility on some of the smartphones.

Notably, from the entire portfolio, over 20 5G devices support 5G NSA, and many also have access to 5G SA networks.
