OnePlus has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming new flagship ‘OnePlus 8T’ which is on 14th October. The company has improved some old features as well as added some new. OnePlus has confirmed that this upcoming smartphone will have a dual battery setup.
With each passing day of the launch event, the OnePlus is making us familiar with the upcoming features of OnePlus 8T. OnePlus has confirmed that the device will feature a 4,500 mAh battery. This indicates that the phone could have two cells of capacity 2,250 mAh each.
“With this new setup, both batteries can charge at more than 30W simultaneously while staying cool even when using the phone,” the company said through its forum post.
Regarding the Warp Charge 65, OnePlus said, “Warp Charge 65 is more than just an iteration of our signature fast charging technology. It’s an entirely new and convenient experience.”
The Warp Charge 65 power adapter will support fast charging and it would be able to charge the full battery in 39 mins and the device could charge around 58% in just 15 mins. The charger will also be able to charge any OnePlus device.

The company also said, “All of these features have been added to ensure that Warp Charge 65 is not only lightning fast but also safe to use at any time,”
Besides the battery, the smartphone will come with Snapdragon 865 chipset, a flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a quad-camera setup which includes a 48 MP primary camera and 32 Mp wide-angle selfie shooter. Also, the phone will run on OxygenOS 11.
