Moreover, this problem has existed in Windows 10 since 2019, and now it seems that Windows 11 has also received it. This bug does not seem to have any impact on the system. Empty folders will not take up a lot of disk space and will not interfere with the operation of the system.

If you want to check whether your computer is affected and clean it up, you can check it in C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local. Some folders may be hidden, and you may need to open the “Show hidden operating systems” File” option.

This bug once again shows that Windows 11 is very similar to Windows 10, and the bugs in Windows 10 are likely to exist in Windows 11.
