However, if you have so many apps on the smartphone and want to arrange them into folders, we have mentioned the procedure to do that.

Organize your apps into folders

Keep your home screen clean, tidy, and organized by grouping apps into logical (or not) folders.

How to create folders

To create a new folder you simply drag one app on top of another and a folder is automatically created for you. Should you decide that you want to remove an app from a folder, simply “long press” the app icon and you will see a pop-up menu with options to remove it.

If you want to add another app into the folder, there are two ways:

  1. Drag the app into the folder from the home screen
  2. Click the “+” button from within the folder

How to rename the folder

Not happy with the folder name? No problem – change it!

To rename a folder, all you need to do is open the folder and enter the new name you want at the top. You could also leave it blank and no name will be shown.

You can also customize the background color. To do this, tap the dot in the right-hand corner and select your preferred color. You can also choose a completely custom color to make it suit your style!

How to remove the folder

If you no longer need a folder, “long press” on the folder and then select “remove from home”. The folder and app shortcuts will disappear.
