Huawei Mate 20 X 4G is getting the latest software update with EMUI 10.1 in South East Asia and soon it will expand in more regions. This update comes with the June security patch.
The Chinese variant of Mate 20 X 4G already received EMUI 10.1 in May 2020. We recommended users to check for the update via the Support App.

EMUI 10.1 for Huawei Mate 20 X brings a bunch of new features including Colorful Always on Display (AOD), new fingerprint animation, Multi-window, Call answering, File editing, Multi-Screen Collaboration, Multi-Device Browsing, and new security patch.

Huawei Mate 20 X 4G is getting EMUI 10.1 with EMUI 10.1.0.245 and an update package size of 4.55GB.
HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE:
[Through Settings] Settings – System & updates – Software update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.
[Through Support App] Open Support App – Service Tab – Update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.

This operating system, based on distributed technologies, enables you to seamlessly interact across devices and enjoy a diverse range of practical features, including mobile office, in different scenarios. Install this update to facilitate a more intelligent lifestyle.
Always On Display:
Allows the Always On Display clock to change colors dynamically based on the time of day. You can also download more styles from the Themes app.
Adds a three-dimensional clock style option to Always On Display.
Fingerprint Animation:
Adds three fingerprint unlock animation options.
Multi-Window:
Allows you to multitask with ease in Split-screen mode, and send messages using a floating window while watching videos or playing games. Swipe in from the left or right edge of the screen and pause to display the Multi-Window dock. Hold an app icon in the dock and drag it to the side of the screen to enter split-screen view, or touch an app icon to display it in a floating window.
Call answering
Allows you to pick up voice and video calls on your phone from your Huawei laptop.
File Editing
Allows you to directly read and edit files on your phone from your Huawei laptop, and also share your phones’ network and sync notifications.

MeeTime:
Adds the MeeTime app, allowing you to make HD video calls even in dark environments using a Wi-Fi or data network.
Screen Sharing:
Enables you to share your current screen for easier communication during video calls. You can also write and draw on the screen, as if talking face to face with the other party.

Optimizes the deterministic latency engine to provide you with a smoother system user experience.
Battery
Adds the Smart Charge mode, reducing battery aging by adapting and preventing the battery from being continuously charged when full. (This feature is enabled by default.)
