Last month Xiaomi added a new member to its Pad 6 lineup and now the big screen device, the Pad 6 Max 14 is receiving its first update, which installs the latest Android patch released in September 2023. This new update brings system improvements and resolves some common issues.
According to the changelog, the first update of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max 14 will fix the WPS PC version freeze issue, occurring in some cases. It will also provide increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure.
Simultaneously, the consumers of the latest lineup will be able to identify the September 2023 security patch via the MIUI build version V14.0.6.0.TMHCNXM and need to download a massive 5.7GB package size.
Also, the update is rolling out gradually in China and will expand to more market users in the coming days or weeks. Users also have the option to install the latest patch manually through Settings > About Phone > System Updates > MIUI Version > Download & Install.
