Huawei P40 series receiving Super Night Portrait Mode 3.0 and Camera focus update

Huawei has begun receiving two new updates for Huawei P40 series users in different markets including Asia and Europe. This update optimizes the optimal performance of the P40 series devices. (Via Huawei Central)

The new Smart Eye-Tracking, Super night portrait mode 3.0, new video mode, camera focus, battery optimizations, and new security patches are part of these new EMUI updates.

SOFTWARE INFORMATION:

Huawei P40 series getting the super night portrait mode update with EMUI 10.1.0.147 and an update size of 832MB. On the other side, the Camera focus update has EMUI 10.1.0.142 and 593MB size.

Important: Software version, size, and rollout availability could be different in different countries.

[Through Settings] Settings – System & updates – Software update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.

[Through Support App] Open Support App – Service Tab – Update – CHECK FOR UPDATES – Download and install.

Adds the ring light compensation feature to video recording mode for enhanced lighting when taking video selfies at night.

Security:

Integrates Android security patches released in July 2020.
