OnePlus has seeded its several devices with the optimizations and fixes of the January 2024 update, meanwhile, the OnePlus 9RT model is the latest to join the batch. To be mentioned, this new firmware update will fix the OnePlus 9RT device issue where swipe-up gestures might not work.
The update will also remove the background stream feature in the Smart Sidebar and extend the device’s battery life for more prolonged use. In addition, the firmware also improves the stability of mobile networks, Wi-Fi connections, and the camera app, for an optimized user experience.
Consequently, the January 2024 update for the OnePlus 9RT is currently rolling out in India and will expand to more region users in the coming days or weeks. Accordingly, the firmware can be identified via the OxygenOS version MT2111_14.0.0.212(EX01) and can be installed through the Software Update section.
